The Linkus platform โ€” including its name, logo, visual design, source code, database architecture, feature set, user experience flows, business model, pricing strategy, Africa-first market concept, content calendar system, multi-platform composer, AI caption generation system, hashtag management system, analytics dashboard, team collaboration framework, and all associated intellectual property โ€” is the exclusive property of Linkus (Pty) Ltd.

All content, software, designs, and materials on this Platform are protected by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and international intellectual property treaties. Unauthorised use, reproduction, distribution, or imitation of any part of this Platform is strictly prohibited and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Strictly Prohibited Actions

The following actions are expressly prohibited and constitute infringement of Linkus (Pty) Ltd's intellectual property rights:

  • โœ•Copying, cloning, or replicating the Linkus platform, its design, or any of its features
  • โœ•Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to access the Platform's source code
  • โœ•Creating a competing social media management platform that substantially imitates Linkus's concept, design, or features
  • โœ•Using the Linkus name, logo, or brand assets without written authorisation
  • โœ•Scraping or extracting data, content, or structural information from the Platform
  • โœ•Registering confusingly similar domain names, company names, or trademarks
  • โœ•Reproducing any part of the Platform's written content, documentation, or marketing materials
  • โœ•Framing or embedding the Platform on any third-party website without authorisation
  • โœ•Removing or altering any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • โœ•Using the Platform's pricing strategy, Africa-first concept, or business model for a competing venture

Enforcement & Remedies

Linkus (Pty) Ltd actively monitors for infringement of its intellectual property rights and will pursue all available legal remedies against infringers, including:

Civil Proceedings

Claims for damages, including lost profits and statutory damages under the Copyright Act and Trade Marks Act.

Injunctive Relief

Applications for urgent interdicts to immediately stop infringing activity, including ex parte applications where necessary.

Criminal Prosecution

Referral to the South African Police Service and National Prosecuting Authority for criminal copyright infringement charges.

In addition to the above, Linkus (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to seek recovery of all legal costs, investigation costs, and any other expenses incurred in enforcing its intellectual property rights. Infringers may also be liable for additional damages where infringement is found to be wilful.

  • Your name, company name, and contact details;
  • A description of the intellectual property you believe has been infringed;
  • The specific URL or location of the alleged infringement;
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised;
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate.
